Can a commander be booted from an alliance?

Because I seem to have been. I was not the founder but was a commander of the "Savages" alliance. Today I login, check how our alliance is doing in Season 2 and it says I'm not in one. No warning, no "You have been kicked" message, nothing.

I e-mailed CS, got an autoreply.

  • Customer Support would have to do it on their behalf. Did another commander 'fess up to asking for your removal?
  • They don't kick them, cs merely removes the commander tag (took them about a week or two to get it done to one of my commanders upon another commander asking).
  • Is the servers working? The alliance functions are the first down to go when there are server issues and many times I have seen me out of my own alliance even though I am the leader, it even asked me to join a public one. Just waited and rebooted it, works eventually. I doubt they would kick you if you were active, since I recognize you your roster is not ****.

EDIT: I looked them up and you are not in it anymore, and the alliance is now public...interesting. I feel this is somehow related to the PvE that ended yesterday.
  • If your score is good batman inc will take you ;P. Hope you get your stuff worked out soon, were you able to rejoin them? While annoying, as long as u weren't the only commander u should be okay to rejoin right?
  • They seem to be full, and the other commanders aren't really active on the forums, I don't think (not that I am either).

My roster is strong enough that I can place at the top if I commit to it (something like 11 141s), but I'm rarely finding the motivation to do so anymore. The alliance was near the bottom of the top 100, which is about right for me - we still got most of the alliance 3* cover rewards, but I didn't feel obligated to grind like a mofo every tournament. I'm around 6k on season 2, with almost none of that in SHIELD training. I think that's about middle of the pack for our alliance. I was actually about to push my SHIELD training score up when I discovered I'd been booted from the alliance.

I had low scores on the last PVE and PVP, so maybe they wanted me out, but nobody said anything. I was actually going to offer to leave after the season if people wanted anyway, since I'm fast losing interest in the game and want to play much more casually if at all. Was mostly curious if I could be booted legitimately, or if this is a bug and if others were affected.

Thanks for the interest, soenottelling, but I think Batman Inc. is probably too hardcore for me icon_e_biggrin.gif . I think I'm basically only going to play on the commute to/from work from now on. Maybe I'll do a farewell post with suggestions/gripes, but a lot of it has already been said and life is busy lately.
