    Last time it was just like 10 sets of sub events, each event rubberband off the sub event leader. The points increase in value for the later missions but not significantly, so any lead you build early is still quite useful.

    Also around halfway is when The Hood and Dr. Doom start showing up, and Dr. Doom + 2 doombot is an incredible hard combination to beat without Spiderman (Technopathic Strike by turn 3, which almost certainly leads to a Summon Demons on turn 4), so expect the difficulty of the enemy composition to go up significantly around the halfway point.
