Living in MMR Hell

No, I am not talking about the game, sure high MMR is a pain but it is beatable. I am talking about the MMR Hell I am currently living in at home. For every level I play in this game, my wife is getting increasingly angrier(Hence her level is going up). If I had to guess she is about level 400, and I am stuck with bagman and friends to try and bring her down. icon_e_biggrin.gif I try to explain to her I need to invest 50+ hours into the game over the course of a week in order to get Storm and to get ISO to level my other guys up but it doesn't work. Aside from putting the game down and spending time with her, does anyone have any suggestions to help me escape from MMR Hell....

    On a serious note, I find that if you just limit your playtime (for all games) to certain (dependable) times of the day you can make for a happier wife. Early in the AM (6am-8am) and late in the PM (10p-midnight) works for me.

    Suggest an open relationship. You can have your fun and she can have hers.

    You must bring her over to the dark side. Start with cookies. Then tell her how much it would mean to her if you could share this wonderful experience with her. Drop little comments like, "When my characters create protect tiles, it makes me think of how much your love shields me from daily attacks" or "It makes me sad when I share ISO and I'm not sharing it with you."

    If you tank her, her levels should drop.
    It will take a lot more grinding though as tanking was nerfed.

    *I hereby in no way encourage wife beating, nor was I implying you should do so.

    Yes, I doubt simple retreats will do anymore, you need to sacrifice some real stuff.
