Daken & Sentry in Heroic Pack ever???

So what is the deal with Daken and Sentry not being added to the heroic Comic packs?

Is the only way to get these new character covers now to buy them for the amazingly low price of 1250 HP.....

Apparently, there are enough players still purchasing Daken and Sentry covers directly for them not to be added to the token draw list. Usually, that happens once sales of the character completely dries up (normally 4 weeks-ish give or take). Daken however, I believe, likely has very strong sales legs (see LThor).

Even then, you are looking at a 0.7% drop chance for a Daken/Sentry once they are added to the draw list to pull one of them at standard Heroic draw rates.

Daken was released may 14th. Its now june 12th. He should have been added this week in r55 but was not...

I have a plethora of heroics and 10 packs sitting around but need very few covers so still waiting.

Packs are updated via data patches, not RXX releases. They could still update the packs soon (but don't hold your breath).

I pulled a Daken 3* from one of the Tokens, but I don't remember which event or type it was. So, it's in some of them, just not sure for all.

I pulled a Green Sentry from the Cage Match reward token yesterday. Do event tokens get the new covers faster than regular heroic tokens?

It depends on the event but yes they usually do. If you click on the little ? on the token cover screen you can see who is included and the odds.

Pretty sure all of the special event tokens (although not LR tokens) have had the new heroes, but (obviously) not heroic tokens. 3* drops are rare enough in standard tokens that I can't confirm that they're there, but I always just assumed they pulled from the same pool as heroics, just with different rates. I'd also have expected at least Daken by now, but maybe they're just waiting to put in 2 or 3 at once. Hopefully they don't wait another several weeks for Mohawk Storm before adding Daken and Sentry. I'll be holding on to all my heroics and 10-packs until they're added.

Looking at the packs that do have Daken in it the chance of getting him is about 0.7% so it'd hardly make a difference whether it's available in tokens or not in terms of cover sales unless you have a thousand or so heroic tokens sitting around. Even with 100 tokens you're not expected to pull even 1 Sentry or Daken on average.

I'm not sure there's any financial reason for those guys to not be in part of the Heroic Pack other than that D3 may not have gotten around doing it due to a lack of resources.
