What are the mechanics around cover sale prices?

I have 38 covers to sell and was just curious as to the mechanics around the sale price of covers. I notice than 1* covers get you 100 ISO, but my 1* character with 13/13 covers nets 5,000 ISO (lvl 50...does that matter?). So, what I am trying to determine is can you get a little more ISO if you put the covers into a new character, then sell? When selling a character, dose the ISO you receive go up as you level the character? At what rate?

  • A level X character with 1/0/0 covers will sell for the same as a level X character with 5/5/3 covers. The level and star determines how much ISO the character is worth, not how many covers it has.
  • Thanks so much, that is exactly what I was looking for.

Cover prices as you have probably figured out are:
    1* 100
    2* 250
    3* 500
    4* 1000

Once you put the covers towards characters selling the characters becomes only about the level. At base level it's the same cost as one cover, no matter how many covers have been applied, so you're better off selling the covers off if you're not using the character. Someone else might know the formula for once you start leveling them, but I certainly don't know it.

the formula is: you'll get a lot less iso out of the character than you had to put in to level them. you can never make a profit that way. that's really as much as anyone needs to know.
  • Thanks everyone, I appreciate the swift resposnes. This was something I hve been wondering for a while.
