Rings of Brighthearth does not work in opponent´s turn

With Rings of Brighthearth and Pyromancer's Goggles in the board (with its 3 activated gems on the board), when the opponent match an activated gem in his turn, Rings of Brighthearth does not destroy and activate the other two, simply nothing happens. I suppose the problem affects also every other activated gem cards.
