Yeah, I just threw my Sarkhan deck at it and finished the first match repeatedly very quickly.
More interesting is the noted incentive for replayability. So far, it’s just been the player XP, which could have been done before. Is this planned for future storylines?

There's so much stuff now to daily that the 4x quick battle for 10 yellow just seems like a chore. 3 would make it so much more streamlined. Or increase rewards

The second story mode that was released yesterday now no longer gives XP to the cards that you used for story mode, but the deck that you played before in another event. If I recall correctly, the first iteration of story mode gave XP to cards you actually used during story mode.

Naah, Story Mode was broken like this last week too. And one time it changed the deck that I selected to play without my input.

Of course we can. Completing those quests just feels like farming, which is not fun to do. I'd rather battle that Filigree Familiar more if I wanted to farm ^^

Not sure if it has been confirmed yet, or if it may have been misreported, but someone on the FTA discord mentioned that they had gotten the [beat the story mode boss or mini boss] quest, but it wouldn't let them complete it then supposedly because they had already completed the story and that fight for that week earlier on. --- It may be another reason why some of us are now being cautious about how soon we complete some of these battles ---, until we know for sure if this actually happens or not, as in the conversation around that time was also people noticing that the last chapter was two-parted. Only today did I get one of these quests to determine that the mini-boss is the first one of these battles of the last node, so I personally do not know if it would not have counted if I had already played it, because with the current stated caution I had waited until I got this quest to complete the given battle this time around. May test if it will not count with next week's, but that does also hinge on happening only if I get the same quest (mini-boss) or a similar enough one to actually test for its failure. And it's not like we have a free reroll or two of quests anymore...
Now, all of that aside - I will miss the rest of story mode we used to have, but I am also liking what I'm seeing of this new stuff. It could be nice if previous weeks' paths don't full-on expire, and can be played though as a building-up backlog like we used to have, if that makes sense. But I think y'all have stated somewhere (here?) that these are kinda beta-testing atm to get a feel of them, and we've only had the iteration of two weeks - and two planes of the multiverse - to get a glimpse of so far, so plans may still be in the works. It may take some more development to add planeswalker abilities where appropriate, but it can be curious enough to simply see a set or plane's cards that might not get played much elsewhere, which could give ideas to players building collections of whatelse they may be able to play with (looking at you now, Ruthless Lawbringer) - also with maybe not being overwhelmed with the combined meta of Standard's current planes and planes. please, less of that one Rakdos. Yes, I have it myself, but I don't wanna put others through that.

I feel it's important to expose players to Standard without special Event limitations/rules. However, considering how competitive and aggressive it can be, making it a 3-match event would make it more appropriate for a 10 gold reward. Furthermore, it should be 3 match completions, regardless of win/loss, due to how competitive the meta can be. Ideally, I would like to see the reward increase to 20 gold; if you login and play to get the weekly rewards, that's at least 5 days of logins x 20 gold each day, for an extra 100 gold a week. That's a nice, fair reward.

I had no issue with that quest even though I had completed story mode earlier. Maybe it's a bug? I made sure to fight the second enemy on this node, not the first btw. I'm an android user, if that is relevant to the issue.
Not entirely sure what their case was yet. Just want to make sure that people are keeping an eye out for it.
