    My wife hoards to an insane degree. She even has thousands of tokens just sitting there reading "99+" everywhere you look.

    If she ever bothers to open everything (or let's me do it for her) I have no doubt she could max whatever she wanted, except Galactus.

    But I might need that specific token!

    We're not supposed to like it. We all want to get "caught up," but ask anyone who's actually been at the top what that's like -- it's really not any different.

    How many players had the goal of getting a single 5* championed? Or a single character to 550? I once had both goals! And when I got there...nothing really changed.

    The chase is the entire game.

    I once had an endgame goal of getting a single 4* Deadpool black cover, such was my bad luck with getting that (before shards of course). Those were the days!

    It's all a bit of a disappointment when they say 6* are the next big thing etc but then make his shards/covers so painstakingly hard to acquire and only obtainable from pve. I don't even like PVE so I've given up grinding for his shards already and there's been no shard award for him in any PvP so far so any excitement has died already.

    LOL, This is exactly what I thought when 5* SS debuted.

    Key points to EMPHASIS.
    1. The initial rate of acquisition is not going to be the final rate of acquisition.
    2. Players aren't aware of future economies/currencies.

    Just remember, when SS first debuted, he could only be acquired via the legendaries (1 per 40x) So it wasn't unrealistic to think 5* were super rare "trophy chars". But we all saw how they expanded ways to acquire and speed of acquisition. The other key point was that the first releases were spaced far apart etc. Realistically, it took most players at least 3+ months before they had a fully champed 5* (my first was banner, then BSSM).

    So the current release and acquisition schedule isn't that different that what they did for 5* debut.

    6* star acquisition will only get harder once more get released. It looks like they will rotate between the 3. Getting galactus would presumably take the shortest time.

    Maybe they thought about this hence now you can favorite 6* and possibly coming soon you can choose which 6* you get from pve.

    I'm fully expecting that we will get a new token with 5 and 6 stars that will either cost a larger amount of CP or an entirely new currency. I also expect that they will wait until there are 3 six stars so we can't pull and be guaranteed to get Galactus.

    Yeah I anticipate all of this I think but it's so underwhelming and a buzzkill when they hype up 6* and make him almost entirely unobtainable/useable for the foreseeable

    Wow, I haven't played MPQ consistently since 2020, but adding 6s was gonna happen as soon as they added 5s lol. I only just recently got my first 5* to max covers (Dr Strange). It took way too long, the grind became too much and I walked away but I am one of 84 people with the badge from the before times lol. Good day all.
