    While falcon enhancing laken can get crazy pretty fast, I wonder if another wall of HP would perhaps be more intimidating for defense. Are there any high HP characters who wouldn't interfere with the green cast?

    You could swap Falcon out for Hood for faster ap gain. Or go IM40 for more HPs. Unfortunately green is a very common colour and you want the AI to have no choice but to use Sentrys World Rupture. So the only high HP option you have is either Black Panther or IM40. You really want maximum annoyance for defence. Falcon is good for that as his animations are so very very slow. You could go Spiderman with 5 purple just add to slow everything down.
    But as most matches are pick any two plus the one required character I would say that Sentry + LDaken are going to be the best defense team in the game for quite a while.

    While Mags is not nerfed, I will hunt those Sentry/Daken teams down just for the evulz. (If they also have better points.)

    By near future do u mean now? At least 70% of the ppl popping up for me have maxed sentry/dakan. The third gets a mix of hulk/thor/mags/little bit of bp/patch. No falcon team. Probably because falcon actually makes the tram easier to fight. Sire, perfect world (defensively...so ..awful world for the one playing?) Someone is matching green and falcon is grabbing yellow like a fiend and you have 600 dmg tiles by turn 4, but that jist dorsnt happen that often. Insane cascades are what the machine does well. Falcon does.t benifit nearly as Mich as most of the cast from those cascades usually, as most ppl have some way to destroy one or two specific tiles. Plus, with low hp, no self heal, and no useful active skills, its easy to just hit him with match damae, focus kill dakan, and then (depending on how many dakan tiles are out) either finish off falcon, or completely ignore him. Pun/patch/thor/etc all are something to worry about at almost all times..falcon simply is not.

    Simply put, sentry dakan thor is the go to team in the game atm. akA the 3 best characters not named magneto (who isnt amazing on def anyway, he is a top char as aglass cannon comparing off to def). On def, team synergy is honestly usually a negative, as synergy indicates that there are cogs involved. The ai is dumb and the off can focus kill as they want. 2/3 of tour cogs leads to problems. A human can turn your great synergy team into rubble quickly by taking out the focal point of it. They cannot do that against a def built with simply the most powerful/op characters *cough...power creep...I've been telling you guys since l.thor dropped. Cough*

    Thing is, sentry'green +dakan forces you to focus on sentry first, which means the 3rd character is likely whi.will win you your def victory. Falcon is weak enough that he deserves to be attacked first...that is a problem. Pun is fine, but generally he is a nagging character more than a solo fighter. Mag is weak on def and not ideal. Hulk is pretty weak on his own. He is just annoying, or can mess you up if you guess wrong on how much damage you can do in one turn. Bp is a 1 color wonder. Not bad, but also much easier to control. Patch is fine, the self healeans you will be focusing on sentry first, focus killing dakan, and then patch is last (ai berserker let's u win faster) only character that solos, truly solos, is thor...so not having him feel like a mistake.

    Not having thir on your tram is like not having a gen 1 mewtwo on your team. I don't care if you earned him, trade for him, gamesharked him...you simply had him...and he was def on your team.
