Puzzle Quest - Boss Battle Tracking

If you're in an alliance that blows through your boss battles, this is probably not for you. On the other hand, if your alliance is like mine - we make it each month but it's often a nail biter - and you want to check on progress, I build a little tool:
https://sandboxtournaments.maxapex.net/apex/r/puzzlequest/pqbosses/
Simply select which wave you are in and how much health is remaining for the boss. The system will calculate how many boss hits are left and how many sets of 5 hits are needed to complete the event.
Now, a bunch of caveats, but they are all in your favor (meaning that what the system calculates is slightly worse than reality). First, the system is not taking into account the points you earn from sub-nodes. Secondly, the system assumes that folks are only hitting the boss 5 times per time slice, and many folks play more efficiently than that.
Since our alliance uses email for communication, I've included a "Copy to Clipboard" button so that it's easy to then send that info out to the group.
I'm open to making changes, adding parameters, etc. - Feel free to add ideas in here.

Aren't most Boss Hits best done in batches of 6 after the boss timer rolls over?
Or is calculating off of 5 just to enhance the sense of urgency in the alliance members ?

I tried to be upfront about this and said "...the system assumes that folks are only hitting the boss 5 times per time slice, and many folks play more efficiently than that."
In my alliance, I have a lot of folks that are going to play less than efficiently because of time. Others because they don't have a full roster and can't always get every subnode. Using 5 has been a relatively useful number for us to measure out a relaxed style of play.
As a tool, I figured this would not be very useful for an alliance made up of people who are generally playing efficiently. Why? Because those folks are gonna bang it out, watch their flips, and stay on top of it. A more relaxed alliance will have some folks who are on top of every flip and time their play to get 6 boss hits per slice; but it will also have folks who do not do that.
I have been using this tool after each time I play (usually 6 hits, sometimes 5). More than anything else, I watch the average number of players needed per slice to get us to the end to see that number decrease over the weekend. If/when it goes up, that means people aren't playing at a rate that will get us to the end and maybe folks can be prodded gently. All things a top-tier alliance is unlikely to need help with.
(Plug - my alliance has been successfully completing the event on Sundays with about 13 regular players. If you'd like to be in a reliable alliance like this and help us bring that average down, please message me, boss play is our only requirement)

I find it to usually be a mix of 5 and 6 (I need to sleep). But there’s also the occasional 7 when a round finishes during a set of clears.

Yep. Maybe I should have called it an estimator.
