Post battle freeze

My kids are getting a "victory" screen after each battle that we've never seen before. If they hit the back button the game shows a "new reward" screen. Hitting the back button again take them to a blank screen which can't be escaped unless you restart the app. Something is definitely wrong. Both are on android. This wasn't happening after the forced update to r328 yesterday. This started late today. This issue just fixed itself... weird.
