Game app reloading issue

Know that this is more of an issue with the device most likely, but the game completely reloading if the app when you go away from it for a minute or so is really frustrating. It’s happened twice today during the Colors of Magic event which screws up my rank.

Like I said, I know it’s not the games issue but does anyone know if there are any settings to prevent this from happening? It’s something I’ve just suffered with for years lol

Turn off any of your phones power saving features, I can leave my phone idle for an hour and come back to things, as long as the screen stays on afaik

The problem is it’s totally random for me—the other night I literally fell asleep while playing and woke up an hour later with no issue. But another time I switch to the calculator app for 5 second and it restarts.
