The Worst Luck Ever: Missing A Daily

Picture this: it's two minutes til end of daily quest (Not to be confused with Deadpool Dailies). You've completed five of the six to get 50 shards and 3 Spicy Taco tokens. All you need is one more team-up AP match to unlock that reward. Suddenly, the versus match is filled with zero possible team-up AP matches until a few minutes in. You finally get that match... only for the rewards to expire.

Yeah, this happened to me last night. The sixth mission was make 15 team-up AP matches, and I was unable to get it until after the rewards expired. Won the match, but very frustrated with myself. As a result, I punished myself with the following:

1. Spent between 500 to 600 hero coins to get missing 3-star shards
2. Spent 50 command stars to get missing 4-star shards (The bonus 100 alleviates the sting somewhat, but not much)
3. Wipe out my entire spicy taco tokens (Currently in progress)
4. Will miss one full day to break attendance streak

Now, I could have quit the match after getting the 15th team-up AP, but I did not want to take the health penalty for retreating; I didn't want to waste any of my health packs. I'm nearly close to the default 10 anyway, and I want to stock up on some more for the arduous journey ahead.

I don't think I have a case to request for compensation anyway. However, I will want to ask other users if something like mine has happened to you. Maybe there should be something of a grace period where if you did complete the objective but it stretched past the deadline, you can still claim that quest's rewards plus the 50 shards and 3 spicy taco tokens provided you were in the middle of completing the entire daily mission.

Still, I'm mad at myself for procrastinating until the very last minute. Got pretty close though, I'll admit.

I'm sure I've missed some before by forgetting to do one of them.

I have got close to missing one several times and noticed just before (it's usually "buy something from the resource shop" plus "use a TU" left). On one occasion I was 3 minutes to the cut off. Any time that it is close to the deadline or I'm done playing for the day, I spend the 35HP on the 20 3* shards rather than lose the rest of the bonuses.

To be honest my friend, you have 24 hours for these quests, doing them in the last 2 mins is a bit of a fault on your side

But for your grace period, doable but you have to look prescisly where to allow that, I could imagine implenting such thing in the regular pve would set the lodge on fire….
