Choose a side in this race full of dangers and guarantee victory for your team.

During the Setup Phase, players will be able to play with Chandra, Spark Hunter, and Jace Reawakened. Completing all objectives from a side will give special rewards and allows the player to choose that side on the Setup Phase.

During the Standings Phase and Racing Phase, players will choose a side and fight with their own decks until the event ends. Once a side is selected during this phase, the choice can't be undone. During these phases, players will face their opponents again, but this time, with support that benefits their opponent.

The winning side will be rewarded with an exclusive mythic card!

Special Rules

During the Setup Phase, players will play with pre-built decks.

During the Standing Phase and Racing Phase, players will be able to change their decks but will only use the selected planeswalker. Opponents will have support to help them.

Setup Phase (PvE - unlimited charges)

This phase represents the first 24 hours of the event (while this is the only phase “unlocked”) but can be played during the whole 72 hours of the event.

Players will only use the event pre-build deck and will play unlimited charges to complete the objectives for each side. The first battle has only the first objective unlocked. Completing the first objective unlocks the second objective for the next battle, and completing the second objective unlocks the third one for the next battle.

The objective rewards will be available once and earned the first time the players complete the objective.

Once the player completes the three objectives from a side, they will be able to choose that side to play in the next phases.

Chandra, Spark Hunter Side

Allowed Deck: Chandra, Spark Hunter pre-built Deck

Standing Phase (PvP - 06 charges)

This phase represents the second 24 hour period of the event.

Players can still join the event after the Standing Phase has started, but they need to play the Setup Phase and complete at least one side to have a side option to choose (you can complete only the for the team you join).

After choosing to join Team Chandra or Team Jace, the decision can’t be undone.

Players will use the Planeswalker from the side they chose and be able to customize their decks (following the Planeswalker’s color restriction). They will always face opponents who choose the other side.

Like the first phase, players will earn objective rewards the first time they complete the objective.

Each victory grants a point for the player’s side in the event.

Chandra, Spark Hunter Side

Allowed Colors: Red

Racing Phase (PvP - 06 charges)

This phase represents the last 24 hours of the event.

Players can still join the event after the Racing Phase has started, but they need to play the Setup Phase and complete at least one side to have a side option to choose (you can complete only the side you want to join). Players won’t have access to the Standing Phase match and rewards after the Racing Phase begins.

In this phase, players will continue their battle against the other team, with each victory adding to the team’s total score in the event.

At the end of the event, each team will receive a reward according to their performance during the race.

Setup Phase – Objective Rewards

• Players will receive the objective rewards for both sides the first time they complete each objective.

• Both Sides

  • 1st objective: 100 Mana Runes.
  • 2nd objective: 1,200 Mana Runes; 10 Mana Jewels.
  • 3rd objective: 1,200 Mana Runes; 01 DFT Rare Card.

Standing and Racing Phase – Objective Rewards

Players will receive the objective rewards for the side they chose the first time they complete each objective (it can be during the Standing or Racing Phase).

• Both Sides:
  • 1st objective: 1,200 Mana Runes.
  • 2nd objective: 1,200 Mana Runes; 30 Mana Crystals; 10 Mana Jewels.
  • 3rd objective: 1,200 Mana Runes; 30 Mana Crystals; 10 Mana Jewels.

Victory/Defeat Rewards

Players will receive these Rewards at the end of the event only if they have chosen a side during the event.

Some observations

• You can only play the event with Chandra, Spark Hunter, or Jace Reawakened Planeswalker, which will be unlocked for use during the event. At the end, these planeswalkers won’t be added to your inventory or gifted to you.

  • In the Setup phase, you will use Chandra or Jace with a pre-built deck provided by the event, and it doesn’t matter if you own those cards or not. They are not part of your inventory.
  • In the Standing and Racing phases, you will use Chandra or Jace (depending on the chosen side) with a deck you built. You’ll have to follow the Planeswlaker’s colors and choose cards from your inventory.

• During the Setup Phase, the first battle for each side only has the first objective unlocked. Completing the first objective unlocks the second, and completing the second unlocks the third.

  • You will need at least 03 battles per side to complete all objectives and collect the objective rewards (earned the first time you complete each objective).

• For the Setup Phase, you have to complete all objectives from a side to be able to choose that team for the PvP phases and continue to play the event.

  • If you want to join Chandra’s team, you only need to complete all objectives from her side.
  • If you want to join Jace’s team, you only need to complete all objectives from his side.
  • If you have completed all objectives from both sides, you can choose either Chandra's or Jace’s team.
  • It’s not required to complete all objectives from both sides. You can complete the objectives from the side you want to join and don’t play any battle in the other.

• Each phase lasts 24 hours, and you will have to wait for the timer to end in order to proceed to the matches from the next phase. The event’s timeline happens as follows:

  • From the 1st to the 24th hour: Setup Phase available (unlimited charges).
  • From the 25th to the 48th hour: Setup Phase (unlimited charges) and Standing Phase (06 charges) are available.
  • From the 49th hour until the end of the event: Setup Phase (unlimited charges) and Racing Phase (06 charges) are available.

• The 06 charges from the Standing Phase can be used only during the 24 hours it lasts (it doesn’t accumulate for the Racing Phase). And the 06 charges from the Racing Phase can be used only during the 24 hours it lasts.

  • Example 01: If you joined the event in the Setup Phase, completed all objectives, chose a side, and skipped the Standing Phase (didn’t play the event during the second 24-hour period), the 06 unused charges will be lost. If you return to the event during the Racing Phase, you can play its 06 charges. In this case, from the 12 total charges in the event, you can play only 06.
  • Example 02: If you joined the event in the Racing Phase, completed all objectives in the Setup Phase, chose a side, and started the Racing Phase, you will have 06 charges to play during the Racing Phase. In this case, from the 12 total charges in the event, you can play only 06.
  • Example 03: You used only 02 charges during the Standing Phase; when the Racing Phase starts, you will have 06 charges to play. In this case, from the 12 total charges in the event, you can use only up to 08 charges.

• You must choose a side to receive the Victory/Defeat Rewards at the end of the event.

  • If you only played the Setup Phase (and even completed all objectives from both sides) and didn’t choose a side, at the end of the event, you won’t receive the Victory/Defeat Rewards as you were not part of a team.

• During the Standing and Racing Phases, you will always face the opposing Planeswalker. For example, if you chose Chandra’s side, you will always play against Jace; if you chose Jace, you will face Chandra in battles.
