Get ready to fly puzzle masters! To celebrate the new release of Marvel Studios' Captain America: Brave New World, we're presenting you all with a Take to the Skies Community Challenge!

Community Challenge

This Challenge revolves around "Airborne" abilities and our feature film characters Sam Wilson and Red Hulk. The main focus is to win matches with these featured characters on your team.

Airborne characters, for purposes of this challenge are any character that either directly GOES Airborne, SENDS someone Airborne, or AFFECTS someone that is Airborne. Basically, if a character has "Airborne" in their ability description, they count. There is an exception in that it does not count Bosses or other high tier enemies that have the standard "Cannot be Stunned, Sent Airborne, or Sent Away".

As we continue to find creative ways to tinker with these challenges, we've added a special stretch goal to complete by the end of the current Brave New World Season. If completed, all players will earn extra Red ISO, which will continue to grow in size as the Community earns points over certain tiers of the final goal!

Goal

Earn 50 Million Airborne Points!

Points Structure:
Using at least one Airborne Character in a team = 1 Point
Battling against at least one Airborne character = 1 Point

Featured Character Bonus Points:
Bring any of these characters into battle for bonus points!
ANY Sam Wilson = 1 Bonus Point
Red Hulk = 1 Bonus Point

Dressed for Success Bonus Points:
Increase your Airborne Points even further by equipping any Sam Wilson with a costume and bringing them to battle.
Costume equipped for Sam Wilson = 1 Bonus Point

Ex: Player brings Sam Wilson (Falcon) into combat with the Black and Red costume, along with Vulture (Classic) and Captain America (Super Soldier). They are fighting against Black Cat (Master Thief), Clea (Sorcerer Supreme) and Red Hulk (Thunderbolt Ross). The player will earn 1 point for Vulture (Airborne), 1 for Sam Wilson, 1 for Sam Wilson's costume, 1 for fighting Black Cat, and 1 for fighting Red Hulk for a total of 5 points for the battle.

Stretch Goal: Red Iso-8 Overflow

An additional 1,250 Red Iso-8 for every 2.5 Million points past the goal.

    Same. Just need soul and mind stone and I'll have every support. Hopefully we can bring in the soul stone.

    Do we have to win the battle to get the points? I assume yes, but the rules doesn't specifically say a victory is required.

    In the 1st paragraph here it says you have to complete matches. I mean, I guess losing could be completing lol.

    Probably just use the wording used for dailies to avoid confusion
    Win with / play with is clear
    "use X character" sounds more like "play with" than "win with" to me

    Does playing against 3 enemies that all have airborne powers (not via support), give you 3 or only 1 point extra?

    Please tell us you’re doing all of the following:

    1. Making sure that at least one of the relevant characters is in ddq as an opponent every day of the challenge
    2. Setting up some pvps for early March that use relevant characters (the only one currently scheduled during the challenge is Monica)
    3. Adding a pve or two where we see relevant characters in nodes. DP v MPQ comes to mind (Vulture node). Maybe there are one or two more and you can make sure to run those

    It would also be nice if there was a non-timed, play as much as you want, pve to grind like the zombie one during anniversary.

    Yeah, welcome to shield will offer some of that but that’s only like 5 days long.
