Screenshots incoming, but wanted to get this out to everyone per our usual schedule!

Looks pretty good. Quetion:
Red - Can this trigger more than once in a turn, if you use multiple aoe abilities?

Red power at 550 lvl, is the damage number correct? "Deal 117318 damage to the target". Seem quite a large jump from 8012 at 450lvl.

Oh I like that blue, sounds like a good Jane counter

First thing I noticed. It must be 17,318 I would think.

For the blue, is a different type of tile different only to the last tile or any of the previously destroyed ones?

For the blue, is a different type of tile different only to the last tile or any of the previously destroyed ones? That's the big question. There are definitely two possible reads on this -- you're fighting, say, MThor Polaris, a super rare team with no synergy, but makes for a good example. I kid. Anyway, let's say they have 5 charge tiles, 2 protect tiles, and 3 strike tiles. You fire blue, destroy a basic tile (Polaris hasn't filled up the board yet,) then it bounces to a charge tile, protect tile, strike tile and is done? Or does it keep bouncing since it can change types? Which would mean it would then, say, bounce to a charge tile, protect tile, strike tile, charge tile, strike tile, charge tile, then would be done since there are only charged tiles left from the list?
I suspect it's going to be the first read (it will destroy one of each type before stopping,) as otherwise the order in which it kills things can make a difference -- in the above example if it alternates hitting a charged tile between each SAP it can hit more...
Either way it's decent, but one way it definitely crosses into "flush the board" style a la Throg...

His blue can destroy invisibility tiles which given the current Frog based shenanigans could be useful for difficult to reach ones.

Presumably the feeder will be 4* Sam Wilson, and Heimdall will get a new feeder?

That's the first thing I wondered too.
Imagine teaming him with 4* Juggs (esp an ascended one) and getting a cascade when Juggs is tanking. His AOE could trigger this passive on every match and put a whole mess of strikes on the board and if they came mid cascade (ala Polaris) that would do some sweet damage.
I also wonder for characters who do multiple random hits (like BrB's Green) that if the 2nd and 3rd hit (assuming the 2nd hit something different than the 1st) count as 2 instances of damage so that it would trigger twice.

I can see pairing him with Omega Red and IHulk if the red passive will trigger twice. Getting 4 strike tiles each turn for each turn can add up quickly especially with AOE’s. I think his blue will be better in PVE or puzzle gauntlet where you will face multiple different special tiles for his blue.
I think he is interesting but I think he is more fun an niche than a great character

will they surprise us with a 4*sam rebalance?

Re: feeding Heimdall...I see a couple options, at least. One is Heimdall is secondarily fed by Sam (this is somewhat less frustrating to people who might have been focusing on 4Sam for Heimdall covers). Second is adding Heimdall as a secondary feeder from Throg, who has a stronger canonical tie to Heimdall anyway. Or, 4Thor or Angela could secondarily feed Heimdall. But I don't see a way that Heimdall gets primarily fed right now.
I really hope the blue keeps going until it can't find another special tile in the 14 tiles in the same row or column, as it would be a nice counter to the board filling nonsense of Thor Pol that lots of people seem to default to when the boost list isn't very good.

wouldn't you want to champ the dupe now already, so you get the LTs / other stuff and then the covers / shards as retro?

That strike tile passive is insane.

The real "bad ending" to this is that they decide to make 4★ Sam a secondary feeder and leave the new character without a primary feeder, like they did with Gorgon. I'd say that's less likely, a character should feed himself as a primary feeder, but it's still possible.
I agree with you on Blue, it's a lot more exciting if consumes special tiles until only one type is left. I guess we'll see.
