We regularly hear about "the budget" for character rebalance and creation; could you elaborate on how the budget works / what it consists of and how it is applied?

NOPE. Like, BIG, BIG NOPE. ^ _ ^ THAT version of negasonic comes from movies. This is comic's Negasonic: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Eloise_Phimister_(Earth-616). Yes, it was later heavilly influenced by movies, mostly in image/look like departmengt, but the powers etc. are diffirent. In game version also has diffirent name (Ellie instead of Eloise). Go, check it yoursefl. I double checked that as I am HUGE anti-enjoyer of her existence in MPQ and wish she was never to be here - at least not before some more prominent Marvel characters like Pym, Skull or Enchantress.

Probably very GURPS-like? You buy your stats and powers with points and have a set amount of those to use on your character. I mentioned GURPS because it has a lot of freedom in skills (their "powers") and each of those has different cost depending on its effect and strength.
One thing they mentioned a few times is that for 5* tier the match damage eats up a lot of that budget.
My question:
Could you expand daily quests to also give 5* shards? 30/20/10 shards for 3/4/5* respectively would be great! (adding to the alredy exiting prizes for completing 6 qusts). Maybe also add a token as prize for a new mission like "win a mission with an X affiliation character 3 times", rotating the affiliation used every day.

My question
Are we going to have an overhaul of Deadpool daily quests any time soon? As this was promised over a year ago. Rewards and fights are very static and although the fights are easy it’s getting a bit boring now

When characters are rebalanced there is very rarely any PvP or boost in the game to let players try them out so we don't really get the chance to enjoy them - can they at least be added to the boost list for the week of the release?

Why can we not collect shards for Limited characters via Standard, Elite or Mighty buys?

Can we get a new currency and milestones just for alliances? Maybe a point based system (like a season pass) or tokens where we can use on alliance specific vaults.

For quests that require you to fire an ability that switches (eg Gorgon Godkiller/Grasskiller) can you count both? It's annoying to have to fire his red more than 20 times since only Godkiller counted,l.

Can you guys just put costumes that haven't been in vaults in the Season pass please. since it looks like your not putting costumes in the Season vaults anymore. No more of these boring lame re colored barley changed ones of already existing costumes.
I mean for the Christmas Vault we got Beast with Green Grinch Skin. This Month's Season Pass Cyclops same 3 star costume but it's darker and has blue and Night Crawler with barely any change.

You said last month characters chosen for ascended offers were influenced by sales numbers.
How about selling Infinity stones in support offers? At least those previously distributed during community challenge so it's not forever lost if you missed itThey'd sell like hot cake provided it's reasonably priced

Most of the answers to these questions will be answered with "the new engine". Really, this thread could have been completed after that first question

Don't want to shut down this but the previous months of answers led me to the above conclusion. A lot of the changes people are interested in do depend on that new engine!
Honestly, I feel like this regular monthly thread could be put on hold till that happens.

I've said a couple times now -- make this into an FAQ page!
Folks often submit the same (or very similar) questions every month -- they are clearly very interested in the answers, and haven't seen them before. Just collate all of these into one big permanent post and update it every month with whatever new questions are asked.

Now that we have cover swaps, please can you give us a way to combine multiple copies of characters already rostered (especially ascended characters)? Eg I have 3 copies of 2* Daken ascended to 4. I'm planning to ascend to 5* eventually but that will leave the 3rd copy sitting on my roster for years before I am able to apply any covers to it.
Pulling an ascended cover should be an exciting moment, but if you already have multiple copies of the cover then the only options are to sell the cover for a paltry amount of iso, or just roster them and have them taking up a slot for a loong time. (I've submitted a short version of this to the Google form - the 250 character limit is challenging!)

Along with the merging of characters suggestion above, how about a way to specify which copy of a character gets new covers going forward. Nothing annoys me more than the “decisions decisions” screen when adding new covers.
