What you spend in 2024. And what you think you spend in 2025

Wanted to post this last week but forgot lol

After probally 5 to 7 years spending nothing ..I think I spent around 200 bucks in 2024. After buying 10. 1 stars ascended to 5

I really doubt I will spend that much in 2025 going to try to keep it under 50 . Unless they do something insane with MVP or season pass I highly doubt I spent that much

And all of the 1 stars ascended to 5. Got 4 of them 550 and rest get there and few dips

I stopped spending last year. I used to VIP and think of it as my subscription to the game. Now, eh.

I only buy costume bundles. And now they're releasing 5 or 6 a month.... 😐

I usually only spend on VIP occasionally if it includes a costume I want. This year though, I spent more than I ever have because I bought all of the ascended 1a5 offers except for Hawkeye. Those are just too good to pass up.

Why do you think they release costumes so much? Last year we saw basically every new character start to get a costume shortly after release (and when they didn't they kind of said something like "we tried to but stuff happened").

I also buy a lot of them, especially 5s because it's usually a pretty good deal with the HP and a free cover. But not as many 4s or others, I plan to only buy ones for lower tiers that truly appeal to me.

Beyond the costumes and VIP I have bought some other bundles on occasion but I'm trying to buy less this coming year. Mostly/partly because my resource gain due to ascension and champs etc has gone significantly up.

Roughly $1800. Stark Salaries really add up. As far as this year..depends on bcs and how appealing the vaults released are to me. If the vaults are good, ill spend the hp on them and then spend real $ to replenish my hp. VIP ill continue so long as the constant repeat of costumes ends which it seems to have been corrected.

I agree, it all depends on your perspective and income level.

I buy VIP every month for the costume so I spend 120 a year. Yet at the same time I play some beer league hockey 2x a week that costs roughly 25 a game (1 hr game) that comes out to 2000ish a year (we don't play major holiday weeks and playoffs are included in the cost).

So based on what I spend on beer league hockey (2000ish) vs the 1800 that WilliamK1983 spends I'd say he isn't spending that much at all since I'd guess he spends WAY more than 2 hrs a week playing MPQ.

could buy 5 for 100 what would net you 100k 20 k each.. yes it does take some time to get them to 550 but wouldnt it be a lot cheaper then keep buying tonys not sure why would you need all of that hp at once

then again how much does a tony cost and how much gold do you earn... maybe its the same 20k gold for 100?

seems top is 20,000 gold for 100 bucks i mean i would rather spend that on 5 ascended and end of with 100k gold but each their own..

Years ago, there were a bunch of players in my alliance who'd drop something in that range every week. I've got no idea what it's like among the competitive players now, though.

My number is probably (?) higher than yours but I don't know what it is and I don't keep track.

Guess the sarcasm didn't hit...I know it's a lot of money, was surprised I got it up that high. I agree that @bluewolf and @slidecage that what they spend is a lot. Like @KGB with his beer hockey, I had sunday morning baseball for years after college which was a good amount of money. When I stopped playing, fantasy sports took over and buy ins grew larger over the years. Now with mpq the hp helps me keep chasing and building. In the beginning of my mpq journey, hp went straight to health packs. Once I started getting charged for slots that was my other expense. But health packs mostly, my gosh so many freakin packs. I'm a lot better with pack use now, still pretty terrible but not nearly as bad as I was. Now I keep a stash so I can take advantage of a vault I like. And those daily deals for like 200(10 elites) or 400(50k iso, 5 heroics, 1 LL)hp I get every time. I enjoy the game so ill support her best I can. Will my yearly turn into weekly like @entrailbucket old alliance? Never, I couldn't justify that to myself but I'm grateful for the players that do. Oh and I only buy the starks when they are on sale which is always followed by a vault of some kind.
