Retaliations expire?

I've ignored the Avengers tourney all day, been attacked numerous times since last night. Usually retaliation s have stacked, so the when I finish one there's another waiting in the same spot. Sometimes I even skip one for another red spot to appear there.

That's not happening tonight. I skipped one low value retaliation, played two others on different spots, and now there's nothing in the queue.

So I guess I'm back to skipping for 10 minutes looking for worthwhile fights. =/ Are retaliations broken again?

    I've had that happen before, and it sucks. I've also seen retaliations "hang out" for a long period of time. I've given up trying to figure out the rhyme or reason and just don't let my retaliations back up too far icon_neutral.gif

    Yea it feels like I can't get more than 5-6 retaliations lined up. If there are 3 they'll stay around but it seems when they start to pile up, if you don't clear them then the ones that aren't already on screen expire.

    Don't forget when you have double attacks from the same person. stacked up without retaliating the first time. Though one time, I was the one who did a double attack, and felt a little bad

    You also want to retaliate against those players that seem to be punching above their weight first, rather than against a solid team who seem to 'justify' their ranking points. That way even if you knock the former group down, their retaliation against you would cost you fewer points (than compared to if they attacked you 6+ hours ago and they might have dropped a 100+ by then).

    Oh is that why I get so many retaliations? (I swear, every team I fought in this last avengers tourney was at least 20 levels higher than me)
