Duplicate costume

I just got a free 3* R&G cover and the christmas costume. The costume was exchanged with 5 (five) HP. That used to be 500 HP. A fluke or is this for ever?

    I got 500 hp today from the pumpkin headpool costume. I think 5 hp only applies to the costumes they give away for free. They gave everyone this costume last year for free

    Happened to me as well. I hope its a fluke or bug or whatever, because if its not and this is the new exchange rate right when the cover swap theft is announced...horrendous look.

    Basically, their goal seems to be to reward every player with this costume each holiday season, without giving too much additional bonus to those who have been around for longer than a year. Although it’s a new approach for them, I can see the reasoning behind it if it’s true.

    No wonder the duplicate costume return value (5hp) looked odd... but I kept clicking through so didn't grab any screens... oh well... :/

    We didn't earn or buy it so we get a diminishing return I guess.

    Being gifted to everyone and having a diminished dupe value makes sense. Not thrilled about it, but I get it.

    Someone mentioned 45000 players on another thread. If that was at the normal dupe costume rate that'd be 22,500,000HP dropped a a gift....
