Alright, I was hoping for someone who might actually be good at or strategically lock tiles. Fingers crossed that heal ascends well. Now if the next Rival (or anyone related to this character I don't know) plays off locked tiles we could see an actual team synergy.

Does locking OReds countdown stop it? Could be a decent option for slowing him on turn 1 without having to run team damage mitigation.

A few people said a while back that they sometimes avoid Jubes5 because she locks too much of the board making it annoying, is this still the case or does everyone mindlessly hit her now? Could be fun in an annoying way to team her with this character.

Our first cross over character, Cruella Deville. Wonder what other Disney people we'll get.

Worst possible answer -- I think it depends who does the locking. I'm pretty sure Invisible Woman's bubbles (which are basically locks!) would stop his tile from doing anything at all. I think other tile lockers may work differently, though.

Red costs 5 and locks 5 (Rank 5). With 30 AP you can fire 6x and lock 30 tiles.
Yellow costs 5 and locks 4 (Rank 5). With 30 AP you can fire 6x and lock 24.

That's 54 tiles locked out of 64 with another potential 7 already being on the board from her passives (or other characters who can lock tiles).

I suppose this means the next MPQ unofficial challenge is to deadlock the board with no possible moves no matter how the board is shuffled (Fire Red after Yellow since you can pick 1 tile to lock so it makes it easier to get a deadlocked board). I wonder what the game does when that happens...

She had fun synergy with 5* Jubilee.

Now I want to create an awful team of Jubilee, Luna and Invisible Woman. It repeatedly gums up the board while building up the AP for an instant win.

What happens is Omega's tile gets locked and no longer does anything until it's unlocked. Unfortunately Omega doesn't recognize that tile, so he makes another. It becomes an issue when more than one gets unlocked.

This terrible news and further secures Reds place in history, but thank you very much for the info!

Ok ok, what if... start with 6 red, lock the current tile and send Mags5 airborne so he continually destroys the new one. Eh???

I'm still; excited to try this character out though.

Every test thus far of a locked tile character vs Omega just results in OR making a new CD after the current one is locked.

I just hear @S0kun in my head all the time now:

"These fools wanted Omega Red sooo bad, oh, they GOT! OmegaRed! Mwahahaha, haha, ha!"

I’m entirely convinced this character was created so that they can add ‘create/destroy X locked tiles’ to the seasonal quest list.

I wish this was a 5 star, as 4 it will probably just take dust next to hydra stomper

Seol Hee from Korea...well that was some quick google search work from the trainee intern there.

And what's with the Luna bit? Can she only make snow when the Moon is visible? Oh! Is that why it is "Dark Ice"? Good google searching, Geoff the intern!

Locked tiles: yippee, great, huzzah definitely not annoying.

Can somebody also please match 5 that blue on her Dark Ice screen shot, it is driving me mad with it just sitting there unmatched! There is no Teen Jean to worry about! I might have to screen shot it and colour it in!

I feel like they’ve missed a trick not calling her powers “Yellow snow” and “Black ice”.
    What’s dark ice?!?
Admittedly it’s a red power, not black, so that could be confusing. But no more than many of their power wordings!

Just to confirm, but Absolute Sensation would destroy all of 5*Jubilee's locked repeater tiles, right?

The animation for “Yellow Snow” would probably be problematic.

So this is a shenanigans character like Jubilee.

I will completely ignore this character like Jubes because it just makes the game annoying.

Since we can just skip them in PvP and nobody seems to run tile lockers anyways this isn’t a big deal.

I think it’s too much work for what you get out of tile lockers.

I remember her from Marvel Future Fight, so checked that out and she was introduced in that game in 2018 (along with some promotional singles by K-Pop singers).
The name is not very original, but the creative team was mainly Korean, so I assume they knew what they were doing.
