Hm, how do you earn season pass points? Playing daily characters gives none. Or has it not been started yet? Also, daily character vault is absent as always.

Oof also hoping the season pass isn't replacing the seasonal quests. We could totally have both? The anniversary season pass had some good stuff in it but this one's 50% more expensive (1500) and less tantalizing.

Also like mentioned, last season we ran out of stuff to do suuuuuuper early on.

Side note, I didn't really care for Rivals. I played in the alpha and it was like a super slowass version of Overwatch 2 (which I play almost every day). If it were first person view it would've felt a lot faster. And the damage was way too low, took forever to kill anyone.

I'm assuming it will be the same as the zombie season pass, and quests that give points will unlock later today and run new ones every day.

I was watching people play Rivals at Unrealfest; they did a great job on the character art, but the gameply was just complete chaos, definitely not one for me.

Add me to the list of people who are disgruntled we are not getting a Seasonal Vault. Those were much better than either the "Pass" or the "Holiday Vault" for Rivals. A lot more LTs (including Classics,) and the Ascended characters are essential if you ever want to get your 3★s to 5★s in anything approaching a timely fashion.

This is definitely a rewards hit.

Marvel Rivals took over MPQ alright, and they're holding the seasonal vault hostage.

Thank goodness for the stellar character releases this year. Everything else this year has been below meh.

guess I am the only one who doesn't miss the seasonal/monthly vaults cause of how much of a slog the stuff is to do. get every color 50X times do abilities 100-150 stun enemies 45 times win 50 matches etc

Ah, but now you need to do those things for the Pass! Which for the most part is the same work for less rewards.

I assumed the monthly missions / vault was also coming back... if it doesn't return, please retract my excitement for the season pass. I would not be exited about now having to spend HP for less rewards.

Seasonal vault home is a huge hit to the rewards output without at least diminishing the necessary engagement. The result of this equation is definitely decreased enthusiasm on my part and I can't be the only one.

I’ll be that guy and point out that season vaults are opportunities, not requirements.

Everyone can decide to engage as much as they want. The game is the same, no content is missed by not clearing vaults or not completing all the quests.

Of course I still understand FOMO and OCD and all that compelling people to complete them…

Absolutely love the Marvel Rival season pass.

Who needed the ascended 4* or the 5* or the 4 additional Lts and classic Lts or 60 other rewards. Now we get that sweet looking starlord and jeff costume and those 3* Namor covers.

The only thing missing is standard tokens, get rid of the costumes and add those. My engagement in completing the quests will definitely be more once the standard tokens get added.

I bought the pass. Didn't even look at rewards other than to see a new costume and I was sold because I've spent hp before for a costume and that's essentially what this is plus some extra rewards all for doing things I was already going to do (play the game).

Even the vault isn't terrible. 5K HP buys 40 pulls in a 50 pull vault. That plus 10 days playing nets you 2 5 stars, a bunch of 4s, an LT and a bunch of other tokens + ISO. Sure, compared to Xmas vaults of year ago its not great but compared to a lot of other vaults or deals (I mean you can spend 3800 HP and only get a couple of 4 stars in a call for backup deal) is is. There was a time where 2500 HP for a single 5 cover would have been considered great.
