Any advise for that wretched column of strike tiles node in the puzzle gauntlet?

As title says, I’m fed up telling the devs that these nodes are absolute RNG, they won’t listen anyway, so you fellow players have any ideas?

Do you not have Polaris on your roster?

Oh for the changing the game mode...yea Silk is the only option in this battle. KGB is correct, got nothing to add but will reiterate luck and patience as this one is a pita.

Apologies for the Polaris suggestion, there's one or two other nodes that want a column of strikes too.

Problem is Polaris isn‘t allowed in that node, sadly

Her team ups are though. That's another helpful thing you can do, bring Polaris TUs into the battle.

Do you have all the characters? How's your supports?

I always do it with Silk as I find she's the easiest to do it with (set to 5 in Blue/Black).

If you have the Low Level AI support, equip it since it gives you 1 strike tile per turn which helps flood the board with strikes. There are other supports that have X chance to give 1 strike a turn you can use if you don't have the Low Level AI support.

Don't fire any powers until you collect enough AP to fire Blue and Black 3x each (so 24+ AP) since she will just murder Daken/Mantis via her passive once she has web tiles on the board.

The Black is the key power because it places the strikes on Green so it's a known color. You want to wait until you have a column with at least 5+ strikes in it so you only need 3 strikes via firing her powers. If you can get a column with green tiles it really makes it a lot easier since the Black will likely put the strikes there.

You'll need a little luck of course once you fire the powers and I usually retreat if I get web tiles in the middle of my columns I was hoping to win with since she kills them so fast.

I know others claim Karnak is better because his Red lets you destroy non strike tiles in a column but you then have to rely on the drops being strikes and you may need to fire Red 3 plus times to get a win. My biggest problem is his passive damage increase tends to kill them too fast so I rarely have time to collect enough Red for more than firing twice.

Puh, that helped a lot, thx

Still, mostly pure luck, like Russian roulette with six bullets and you have to hope they all just don’t fire, can’t see where this is puzzle…

Took me forever, but at least I had Silk ascended this time around. These nodes are so painfully stupid.

Thanks for the Low Level AI support tip on Silk, it worked on the first try.

Pretty funny -- I have Silk ascended at 470 or something, and this fight has become impossible. She just totally shreds both enemies. I can't keep them alive long enough to win.

I had that problem with Karnak who I ascended across the anniversary. I thought maybe some precision board control would help, and as soon as the crits appeared the match was a loss. I eventually did it with an unascended Silk equipped with a 3* reality stone (start of turn, there is a chance to convert 2 team up to the team's strongest color - a bootleg way to clear team ups without risking cascades). Low level AI is one of the last 4 un-owned supports I need (symbiote god, soul stone, and mind stone are the other 3).

Forgot to mention another way to do it.

Use 3 star Magneto (Yellow set to 5) and fire his yellow 3x putting 27 protects on the board. If you now have a column of 8 Protects (or some of Dakens strikes) fire off a 4 star Wasp Yellow TU to turn all those protects into strikes (Note if you have any friendly strikes in the column it will swap those into protects so watch out for that). 3 star Mags also has that handy Red to remove all TUs. Obviously you'll want to equip a support that gives you protect tiles instead the strikes that the Low Level AI does.

Some other powers that will flip friendly protects to strikes you might be able to have team ups sent with: Hobofist black, can Gladiator Thor's yellow be sent as a teamup?, any of the elektra purple double double cross powers might help; it seems like there must be a few more.

Mines 465 and I won it. It did take 6 or 7 tries but I think it does when she's unascended too. Ascended you don't have to worry about her dying though. Only had to heal her every other try.
