I really don't understand why you missed the opportunity to sell certain booster or cards alongside with an event that heavily relias on abilities of that set.
A player starting after kaldheim went legacy has no chance and also no resources to get cards from that set.
Loosing 36 points in current event scheduled for this weekend.
This is unfair...

I agree that it is a missed opportunity to promote some of the relevant PWs & booster packs in the vault. @Magic:PQ Support Team you’re leaving money on the table again.

Like some AI driven planeswalker coming to life and doing the complete session...
I did some testing and the results are amazing.

(I should have said "loading consideration" or something like that before, to let you all know it was being worked on, right? My bad. 'Guess the general strategy has been not to bring anyone's hopes up in case something can't happen, but I'll try to find a compromise here.)

As a marketer in my IRL job, you're 100% right man, this was a BIG missed opportunity.

Hopefully they'll learn from this going forward.

@Magic:PQ Support Team What's the reason that the newest event (Battle for the Crown) that is released together with the Duskmourn set is handing out Wilds of Eldraine boosters?? I would expect that this event also gives boosters from the newest set.

@Machine It's just an event, I guess. No special reason, just something the devs had on their sleeves and didn't want to waste.
Both events announced together with 7.0.0 give FDN boosters, for example. But Crown's theme was more specific. I'll relay to them the questions of access to the new boosters, even though I've heard them mention it as something they think about too.

Sneak Peek updated for this week:

• Foundations is out and is legal in Standard.
• The new event Creatures of Magic (with bonus!) will be offered this Thursday.
• Excepcionally this week, Planechasing Fblthp will happen on Thursday instead of Wednesday. We've heard before how you all get excited to have access to the new cards as soon as possible so this change makes it so we can bring an FDN card this week.

@Magic:PQ Support Team Terrors in the Shadows is listed as legacy in the sneak peek (which is great because there aren’t a lot of werewolves in standard) but shows standard in game. What’s going on?

Thanks for the correction. The template for the Sneak Peek seems to not have been updated for this event. It is Standard, though, 100%, no changes in this aspect. (I've also just updated this internal template).

@Magic:PQ Support Team thank you for clarifying. I have gone from being excited about this event to not interested in it at all. Of course, now I feel obligated to play so I don’t let down my teammates. How disappointing!

Oh Terrors was a lot of fun with the updated objectives to omit wolves/werewolves to "creatures".

Still mixed on the "double damage" after 5 rounds, but makes it move VERY fast.

And those Smaller brackets are CHEF'S KISS!!!!

PLEASE Do that for all coalition events, that would help curb the "not perfect" rage a bit for those that slip up or ...gulp experience game crashes.

Although I had a personal bad score (endless loop and a Grist 3rd ability oneshot due to enrage), I loved this event.

• The smaller brackets (so one loss or bug doesnt cost you everything).
• "Summon" instead of "cast" (so you can get creative).
• 12 matches (instead of 18).

Enrage was nice, it changes my deckbuilding and approach. Every now and then it's good to have it.

I was less happy about the Basic Booster rewards, they're not great. Would love to see those get higher percentages, or just make us earn the latest set instead.

And lastly a special "Thanksgiving" for my Retirement1 coalition; we were 4th, our highest ranking so far!
