Can we get an official MTGPQ Discord server launched?

This idea would greatly help Webcore Games and it's playerbase communicate any and all ideas to help keep a thriving playerbase engaged and would solidify a one-stop server for all of our needs. Players old and new would be able to reach out to one another for help with deckbuilding tips, strategies, resource management, and updates. Also Webcore mods could control the flow of information and traffic and terms, and alleviate the tedious navigation of multiple coalitions and/or alliances, but still allow them to exist for their own shares of information as they can still keep certain criteria private. My own personal experiences of navigating across several Discord servers related to MTGPQ have been mostly positive experiences with incredible genuine people that absolutely love this game and other players that love sharing information that is positive to them and others (mostly but not all). This idea imho has far greater positives than negatives to get launched and up and running with the right unbiased moderators. We just want a completely neutral and friendly environment to welcome all and respectively engage with outside of these forums (please no offense) but we're a little outdated here and a more modern approach would be to launch this idea for all to enjoy.

                                    Respectfully,
                                    Killroy

I imagine that many if not most of us were in small, mostly inactive coalitions before we were recruited, and can perhaps remember being less involved in the game.
The greatest advantage is for the developers, and these mostly solo players; giving the former an umbrella for the latter.

Another aye! In my mind I get a vote (I mean y’all let me make an account here and then put in a button that launched this grey box for me to type in, so …) . My 4cents is that an ‘official’ centralized Discord would be tremendous for devs/company to platform the most involved (and your most valuable) players. Newly-social players get access to better strategy and reasons to spend more $. Wins for you, and more wins for more of us ;)

I'm far more likely to report bugs in a discord server vs this forum. Discord is always available while playing. It takes a few seconds to swap over and post something before resuming play. I dont use this forum on mobile platforms, so I by the time I remember to post something I've forgotten or dont have the necessary information. Frankly it takes more effort than I'm willing to commit.

As long as the politics of coalitions stays out I'm all for an official discord server.

I’d really like to see an official discord server moderated by employees. There are quite a few servers I enjoy reading but many more I do not.

A server owned and operated by webcore would certainly be less problematic than employees joining one of the existing servers. There will always be a place for the private servers—not everyone gets along and that’s OK.
