Why do I get the feeling that you are trying to shove this character down our throats?

I do not have him favorited or anything, and yet I continuously get shards for him more than any other character every week. I currently have 34 out of the 72 3* characters available in the game, as of this being posted. And out of those 34, all of them but one are "champions." The only one that isn't is the recently released Nova (Richard Rider). And Miles is at the very top of that list at level 209, which means I get him more than anyone else. I play the Deadpool Daily almost on a daily/weekly basis, so I get the majority of my 3 stars leveled up on almost every run through. But I feel like I am leveling up Miles around 2 or 3 times per week. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but can the Devs please take a look into this? Because this seems a bit much.

Are the Devs going to comment or provide an answer? I've leveled him up three times in the last 4 days, just from shards alone!!! And he is not favorited.
