Today's event quests are not shown

About 45 minutes ago, the new event quests should have come up, and the Quests tab at the bottom shows a red dot indicating new stuff, but when I click it, I only see Daily and Milestone tabs, the middle tab isn't there and there's nothing I can do to see what today's event quests are supposed to be.

I've exited and restarted repeatedly, even restarted my phone, no help.
