Boosted characters get different buffs based on star tier. It's always been like this.

I forget what it is for 2*, 3* etc but they're all different and they've always been like that.

Sorry! I don't know if higher tier always equals lower boost, across all the tiers.

I do know that higher tier equals different boost.
