When I play a creature face down with disguise that has 4 or more power, turn it face it, and then play caustic bronco, it's saddle 4 ability does not see that I have a creature of appropriate power and shoots my planeswalker in the face.

I had tested this using Aurelia's Vindicator. I cast it cloaked, turned it face up, then had the bronco enter. Her power is exactly 4, so it should be fine, but it's not. This does not happen if I have her enter normally

An update to this issue, checked it with another saddle creature, Bridled Bighorn, and it similarly will not register as saddled if an appropriately high power creature enters disguised and is turned face up prior to the mount entering.
