Dakkon, Shadow Slayer's 3rd ability

Dakkon, Shadow Slayer's 3rd ability is not giving the opposing creature's the -x/-x. Been using it multiple times during the Family Business event and it never reduces the opponent's creatures.

Did you have a creature on your board?

Yep. It will buff my creature and not do anything to the opponents.

I have had this bug happen to me quite a few times... I have found it to be an intermittent bug, myself. I think Dakkon's 3rd might have always suffered from this intermittent bug?

I took this screenshot today of the -x/-x effect not working.

Is it something to do with the Darkness Emblem? The -x/-x effect is the only effect on the Forging the Blackblade token which is tied to the Darkness Emblem. The Forging the Blackblade token ++should++ ++always++ be created by Dakkon's 3rd ability with the Darkness Emblem, right? Is the Forging the Blackblade token created by anything else in the game?

Maybe it has something to do with the "greatest number among White, Blue or Black gems on the board"? E.g. 6 white, 6 blue, and 5 black gems and and since white and blue are equal it cannot decide which one is greater.

Oh! Now that you mention that... there IS a related bug with the Planeswalker Wrenn and Realmbreaker isn't there! (I searched for a bug thread for that, and didn't see one).

    Wrenn+Realmbreaker's passive ability does this:
When you make a match by swap of any color except Green: Convert 2 gems to the most present color on the board. Increase your mana bonus of that color by 1 until the end of turn.

But sometimes it doesn't trigger when it should, and some of us players think that bug happens if there is a tie for the most present color on the board. Perhaps the Dakkon 3rd ability bug is related!

when I read last patch notes (3.9.0), I got my hopes up because I saw there was a fix for Dakkon but it's a fix the other bug that applied -X/-X without having a creature.
While it's nice that this one was fixed, the one reported in at least 3 threads (including this one) is still live and I don't understand how the token was checked for a bug but this time wasn't used to fix the oldest reported bug!

Yes, oldest. It was reported on october 2022. Sure it was Oktagon at the time but it's been reported since Webcore.
Can we please finally get a fix for that token??
It's so frustrating expecting -X/-X to be applied when you're in a dire situation and need it defensively in ranked events but you're just screwed and don't get your points because a damn token doesn't do what's it's supposed to do 2 years in.
