Can someone please explain why these tokens are flashing red and green??

I was just looking at the rewards in the Deadpool and Wolverine vault and noticed that the LL token is flashing 4 green stars underneath it and 1 of the heroic tokens has 2 red stars flashing underneath it. The rest of the rewards all show gold stars, which is what they normally are. They also don’t flash.

I know the ascended rewards (4* Patch for example) are also green and flash, but I don’t get why these particular tokens are flashing different colors.

    I noticed this easily a year ago or more and am pretty sure I asked about it just like you. I don't remember off the top of my head, but I'll give a look through my comments and see what I come up with. In the meantime, let's all follow @JoeHandle great advice.

    Maybe it's from a previous template which had an ascended character. They just reused it and changed the contents of vault but didn't bother to change the font colour. Like the formatting of an excel cell.

    Is this an Apple thing? I'm on Android, never seen flashing green or red anything.

    I’m on iOS.

    • Looked at the vault after reading this post: nothing wrong. All stars looking yellow as expected.
    • Closed app, reopened, and looked again: there they are! See the geen and red stars like the screenshot above.
    • I pulled from the vault and played a PvP game, and the red and green stars are still there flashing. So, I am not sure what made them go away before

    Playing on Steam, things in vaults that are ascended have pulsing / flashing stars in the color that matches their tier. 5* tier = purple (see the 1>5 Juggs on offer). 4* tier = green (see 3>4s in monthly quest vault). 3* tier = yellow. 2* tier = red.

    Don't see it on Steam, but on Android I do have the 2 tokens in a different color, however they're not flashing.

    Huh. I never noticed the Ascended rewards doing that. They don't flash -- it's a very subtle sort of pulsating. I had to look really hard to notice it.

    I do see the two tokens showing different color stars but they're not doing the pulsating thing.

    For reference I actually took 2 pics of the green one to show it flashing/pulsating.

    Those colors are based on ascended CHARACTER tiers. They are the same in the in-game roster screen.

    Tokens aren’t ascendable, although maybe they should be 🤔...

    Also, only 1 of the 2* tokens is red, the rest are yellow. And so are the 3* tokens, for that matter.
