Surprised there hasn't been a poll on this yet. More interested in the numbers than reason why, but feel free to give a reason if you want.

Company wants them. They don't care what their customers want

I'm pretty 50/50 on this by now but I've also been very lucky/aggressive with my support development to this point. For my game, it adds some wrinkles that can really go either way. Some teams become so much more viable with turn 0 casts but on the other hand certain support combos will make me think twice about hitting a team that I'd take on if they were equipped differently. I do think for a less developed / upcoming roster they'd have to be almost entirely detrimental; not only do you need a roster that can take advantage of boost weeks (so a reasonably wide one, I guess?) but now also crucial high-level supports to compete with the best in your mmr/bracket.

My experience is a BIG NO. The 'meta' and RNG already suck most of the fun out. Not to mention the acquisition of support was very botched from the start, barring buying out some vaults outright, and the activation of support perks is another round of RNG, which NEVER FAVORS ME. so no thank you. Please remove support implementation in all PVP.

I don't mind the vast majority of them-- I think having a way to adjust strongest team colour through supports is a great thing, for example.

But facing the newer meta supports either slow matches down to a crawl (Leapfrog, Eros' arrow, ...) or add a ton of additional threat (Omnipotence City, particularly on MThor, some of the AP boost ones). I find neither enjoyable.

Climbing against that, especially when you don't have the meta supports yourself (or the boosted characters of the week to mitigate) feels like a tedious, resource-intensive uphill battle. For literally every single pvp event.

(Doesn't help that currently, there's no straightforward way of earning those important meta supports either.)

I have no problem with them on offense-- they exist and the people who have them can have their advantage from using them. My problem is entirely with the defensive side and being at a constant disadvantage in pvp now.

I wouldn't mind it if we were able to get and level supports consistently. Even if we got support tokens at the rate we're getting elite tokens it would STILL take years to max out every support in the game, but as it stands now? It's literally impossible. But hey maybe with the new engine

This new game engine is gonna be super sweet when it arrives in 2037.

I’m a no, but I’ve softened a bit. Supports are mostly an annoyance. I don’t pay attention to what my opponents are running, so unexpected stuff just happens in my matches. Sometimes that’s highly irritating but usually it’s nbd. Imo, ap gen should be capped at something like 5 per color, no matter what supports or boosts are being run, and some of the newer supports need balance checks,

I picked no. But i don't think it matters to the developers. Since my no, is really a no i dont want supports but I will live with it and spend less or the same. Imo, this would be still a yes for supports. No and I am quitting the game because of it, is the only true no. I would curious how many of those ppl there are.
