Can't progress on Deadpool (Hotpool) Beautiful distraction quest

I started working on the above named quest yesterday and managed 4 of the required 20 activations. Today, though, I have done several activations but my total achieved remains stuck at 4.

Yes none of my activations have counted towards this progression either.

Is it for his red power? If so, make sure that Hotpool isn’t below 50% health. That is when his red power changes to a version that doesn’t count for the quest.
