Heads up, the match damage for this is says from level 40 to 266

That red is going to do a lot of damage once you factor in strike tiles and damage boosters like Apoc, Okoye, etc.
I am not sure if it is better to let him tank or run him at below 50% health like Thor

A guy with a man bun is NOT hot

Looks pretty good, lots O hits. Question on the red though, it drains YOUR ap? I wish stuff like that was worded better, like "Use up to 3 extra AP" or something. If it IS your own AP, how does that work? If I have 3/3/0 red/yellow/purple, can it randomly decide to drain 1 red, 2 purple, and therefore only drain the 1 red?
Also for the purple, if he goes back above 50% does the power change back to the original?

My bong sucks (could be name of porno). So no free covers.

That Hotpool is so hot right now

Hotpool….tell me there’s a hotdog costume coming.

That Red against strike tile users can potentially do some crazy amount of hits (could be more than 64 hits). Maybe we can have another informal Forum contest to see who can do the most number of hits with his Red - theoretically the max is 69 (64+1+4) which is such a Deadpool sly reference thing
With his Yellow stealing max AP at 4 covers this guy might be one of the few characters who works better as a 4/5/4 instead of the traditional 3/5/5 type.
@Seph1roth5 - I'm quite sure the extra AP comes from your AP pool. The steal on the Yellow is meant to offset that use by the Red.

I got 4 covers and used him in my final clear of Webbed Wonder. I can confirm the drain on your read is your own AP.

Every single dev created cover art sucks so hard, can you just stop doing this **** and stick to original Marvel material?

AFAIK, whenever they use the word "drain" they mean your AP. For enemy AP, they use "steal".

It would help to have the feeder announced before the character goes live in the game. I always save enough Iso to champ a character who is going to become a new feeder, so I can earn the original rewards before getting the retro rewards. Many of us do not have enough Iso to champ all of our characters, so we have to wait until there's a reason to champ them. Because this information was posted late, I missed out on getting the original Dr. Bong rewards.

It’s not consistent in every character. One thing to consider is there is stealing/taking AP, and then there is destroying (it just goes away). Drain often (always?) seems to mean destroy.
Destroy is straightforward; I don’t know why drain is used anywhere.
I would prefer “consume” for a power that uses your own ap behind the power cost.
Two characters who drain enemy ap and don’t steal it are Red Hulk and Fatpin; there are others.
I think some of these terms come from other games/game terms and hence might make more sense to people who are deeply familiar with them from playing things like MtG.

It's pretty confusing. I did an ability search for "drain" and all the ones that were "steal" showed up lol. So I think on the enemy's end it's the same thing?

Hot/Polaris/Beast 4*

Haven’t even ascended Beast yet and don’t have many covers for Hotpool, but this is becoming one of my best teams already.

I don't see in his kit which passive says "hotpool uses his hotness to slow down time and make your game run slow as hell "

I haven’t seen the slow down outside of his PvP event with the enemy Hotpool still alive (and I ground out all of the use powers quests before the PvP event began).
