Release Notes 6.7.0
What is PM2?
Puzzle Masters 2 is the new set of cards available in Magic: Puzzle Quest, coming together with the 6.7.0 Release. This set has a few interesting characteristics, so let’s answer some key questions:
Will PM2 be always Standard?
Yes, PM2 is permanently in Standard (and Legacy).
Will PMA still be available?
Yes! There will be no changes to PMA boosters.
Will these cards be added to PMA boosters?
No. PM2 cards will be available through PM2 packs.
Will PMA packs be replaced by PM2 in event rewards?
No. Events that have PMA packs as rewards will remain unchanged, but PM2 can be obtained in other ways.
How to obtain PM2 cards?
PM2 Bundles will be available at the store. Booster Packs also can be bought for Crystals and will be offered as rewards at the Mana Burn event.
All PM2 Packs are non-duplicate, so you’ll be sure to get a new card at each one of them until your collection is complete.
What about alternative arts?
PM2 alternative arts will not be offered at Fblthp events. Instead, they’ll be available through PM2 Collector Booster Packs.
With PM2, which sets drop out of Standard? Will OTJ become craftable?
No set will drop out of Standard with PM2. The rotation will happen later this year. OTJ will also not become craftable just yet but with the next set to be released.
