-if you are prepared. Today's spoiler for the upcoming set PM2 will help you turn your opponents' threats into some beautiful feathers:

Nothing wrong with a peaceful world, folks! Or is there? Please tell us how you plan to turn this most innocent card into an oppressive weapon.

I love seeing a card like this return to Standard, but it should have at least 3 shields. Losing 1 shield at the end of the turn means a lot of time it'll just be matched away at the start of Greg's turn. This is basically a suboptimal version of Insidious Will.

Also now might be a good time to mention, once again, the slow animations in the game: currently, the only option we have to speed up the game is the 'Card Visual Aid' option in the menu, which many of us turn on (and which, indeed, prevents some bugs, and so needs to be turned on!) which has the side effect of not showing us on screen the cards that Greg is playing. The side effect of this is that Greg often used to play an Insidious Will without us noticing, and I can see the same thing happening with Strix Serenade.

There are plenty of superfluous animations which could be shortened or removed from the game which don't deprive us of on screen information.

It's able to counter every card they try to cast for the whole turn though. So when it works it's a lot stronger than the 1 card counter Insidious will does.
