Alliance that is the right level for us

How does one find an alliance that is at the right level of gameplay for where I'm at? Really looking in terms of skill level and level of participation.

There is currently no stats nor ranking attached when viewing alliances. The only data available is the member list (some indication on when each player last played), if the alliance is public or private. Neither gives a good reflection of how good the alliance is in events.

During events... we can see the ranking of the top 20 alliances and those immediately ranked next to the current one. That is either too competitive or too inactive when looking for a more active alliance.

So how do I unravel this mystery...

I'd post what you're looking for in the Alliances section and what your roster is like etc. That way someone with a spot in a like-minded Alliance can get in touch.

You migh want to get on Line as well. A lot of coordination happens there.

Just to piggyback on what was previously mentioned, the alliance section of the forums is where I went years back when I saw that I was outgrowing my original alliance I had joined when I first got into the game. Just post in there what your roster looks like and what you hope to accomplish and usually you can get picked up by somebody. That eventually led me to get into Line communication and now I’m mercing every PvE event from the connections I made with the alliance that had picked me up.

    DIscord ... Reddit ... MetasBookface ... LINE .... this forum ...

Not in game, tho. That'd be user-friendly.

Wasn't there talk long time ago they were going to stop mercing

Personally if you join one you should be locked in that group for 30 days. Or only be able to change say twice a season

Mercing is what took the fun out of this game years ago

On my personal quest took me about 15-20 jumps to find the right fit.
Send a lookup of your roster, and get the Line App to join Alliances Groups

No, but there was a lot of whining from posters hoping the devs could / would stop normal use of in- and out-of-game systems.
