Since the most recent update the game is very laggy about 3 out of 5 times I start it. Force closing, clearing cache; nothing helps. No idea why it doesn't lag the other times or if it has the same cause as the Plague event; it's laggy right from the start, not just when playing.

    I am also having the same problem. Super bad lagging and my phone is also unusually warm. Galaxy s24 Utra

    Also an S24 Ultra and I've seen the same issues. It isn't happening every time. I've had it be extremely laggy with a lot of juddering, but when I log in a few hours later with the same deck in the same event it works fine.

    And yes, during the juddering my phone feels like it's gonna melt.

    Lag has been terrible since the last update. Once the game starts juddering, it will continue even outside of gameplay, into the menu system. In fact It'll make every other app on my phone judder too, until I force close MTGPQ.

    While the booster opening issue that slows down my phone is gone I am experiencing the same issues on my S24 ultra on an unregular basis while restarting the app from scratch resolves the issue. It may or may not come back after a view matches.

    I'm having notable lag and or just straight crashing into frozen screen with no response. I noticed it's worse when cards are played especially during a busy match with a lot going on. I also freeze while deck editing often. But as mentioned besides restarting the app, I noticed a prompt data connection restart occasionally works.
