Classics - No poll, and next season

Ever since I started back up in October, there has been a weighted set of Classic 4s and 5s, which has been a good modification to the pulls given dilution in the game. I have been pulling lots of classics and the weighting is helpful.

Shortly after I started back the devs introduced a poll where players could select their favorites among a set of characters to be weighted.

There has been no poll this season for the next one that I have seen, and the pools rotate in approximately 8 days. The What's New image showed a poll being scheduled earlier this month, but nothing appeared.

So, will weighting continue, but curated by the developers instead of being based on player input? Will something else happen with Classics? Perhaps limited pools kind of like Supports are handled?

Any communication would be appreciated.

My only thought was that after 8 months of polls, they might run some of the 4th places (or a random selection of those that didn't win) now for the 5*s given that most of them will have been included. It would seem probable that the same characters will win. That doesn't explain the 4s though where we might only have a third of them selectable.

I don't know whether @MPQBlaine or @S0kun can shed any light?

To be honest I stopped caring or voting. Even if I got two or three classic I wanted to pump up the return rate was so poor I might as well carry on pulling LT and shard any extra covers I wanted.

I would just prefer they went in a standalone classic store for the ones voted. Doubt that will happen so I just ignore classics until I get a token from somewhere.

I’ve pulled tons of classics in recent months, but it’s been more so for the return on the boosted odds for the 4’s and not the 5’s, which to me, seems the better strategy potentially. I’ve ascended a few 4’s because of it and remember during one of the pull sessions I got more covers for a 5 that didn’t have the increased odds over one of them that did.

I would imagine my returns in that area isn’t particularly normal or what other people have seen, but I certainly wouldn’t mind a bump up in the odds chances for the 5’s specifically to increase the chances to obtain those.
