Rule Changes on MtG PQ Cards

Just recently, and best of my knowledge, there was a rule change I assume to correct an oversight of Ugin PW. In the past the use of Ugin on any event allowed me to use all colors despite the node colors of all active decks in a event. This rule changed, as far as I can see was never made publicly, which caused me some confusion on the The Greatest Heist coalition event. There should be some update card rule section where when one card was played one way in previous events but now is played another way in events starting on a given effective date. Even if it was a correction and not a change. Please consider doing those in the near future to help avoid player confusion.

    I faced the same issue when I wanted to use Karn. The reason is that the EVENT is color restricted. White and blue cards are not allowed, unless you use a planeswalker that has access to those colors. Since Ugin (and Karn) are colorless, they only have access to cards with colors that are allowed in any given event. If you take a good look at the node, you can see that the node only features three colors, instead of the usual five.

    In the past, nodes on many events had limited colors, and you could see then that colorless PWs like Karn were limited to the colors on the nodes. But for the last few years, all of the coalition events have had 5 color nodes, so it seemed like the colorless PWs had no restrictions. Now Webcore have started to design events with limited colored nodes again so the limitations once again become relevant.
