I see it too. The required chars are the ones that are supposed to be in the next run of Fight For Wakanda according to the calendar (it’s being run again very soon), and aren’t boosted in this event.

Yes, I noticed this morning. Also the Token for the 5*E rewards have changed to an unclaimed section rather than the current vault.

I always leave the last mission to do until the last minute, but I won't be able to do it because I don't have the characters :(

If you click the token on the 5E node you’ll see the next 4* in the odds screen.

    And now it’s fixed.

Soooo no acknowledgment of this 3x snafu.

I assume no compensation will be forthcoming yet again, as many mistakes have happened and been swept under the rug in 2024 with nary a comment.

Compensation? For having to use different characters for a short period of time?

It was a bit of a surprise for those of us playing competitively, time spent adjusting supports or whatever adds up when you're already grinding under 10.

There are players who pick their SCL depending on whether they have the 5, how high it is etc. Switching it mid event can impact their scores, and their alliance’s.

Everyone was affected equally though. Who would they compensate?

Everyone, of course, for the obvious emotional trauma.

Ok, I as ir compensation is unnecessary and I certainly won’t notice it much one way or the other. And we certainly get a lot more free stuff than ever before.

But they used to once upon a time, when making mistakes, issue some compensation as a way of acknowledging such in game. Now mistakes like pvps run at the wrong times, or essentials switching randomly, etc are ignored.

There is value in a company who is asking you for your entertainment spending in exchange for running a perpetual playground to use your collected characters in, to take some responsibility when things aren’t run correctly. Maintaining player trust is essential to continued success.

That actually isn't the case... updating the game fixed it for many in s2 but not everyone. What looks like a subsequent data push messed it up again for those that updated, but those that updated after said push also got fixed all the way down the line. It was a real screwy thing.

Policy is only law until they change it. Of course we seen compensation for smaller issues and no compensation for bigger snafus. The truth on compensation prolly depends on who has to resolve this issue (ie. who has to sign off, who's advocating what etc) , what do the internal numbers/ budgets allow etc.

    My main suggestions are:
    1. Get a logged CS incident. make sure your logged on the list, so you can get compensation if/when resolved. I don't expect a full userbase wide compensation (since most don't play at that time), and I don't think we've ever seen just a Shard get CS items (but I could be wrong here).
    2. Keep developing the issues, so its easy to explain at the weekly meeting.

With respect to make good. Sometimes its just iso/hp sometimes a full cover. There's no consistent precedent on what exactly gets compensated.
