points needed for top100 alliance rank in pvp

anyone near 100th alliance rank in the latest pvp event or knows what the average alliance points is for 100th in pvp?

Just a rough estimate of points would be good. This game really needs scrollable leader boards!

I'm Currently in an alliance with 9 people. Some of us score above 800 consistently for these events. Wondering how many people we need before we have a chance at top 100.

    It's mainly a pipe dream until you manage to get a 20 player alliance. There are a lot more active 20 player alliances that don't frequent the forums.

    And even then you do need a modicum of effort from them, IIRC, it was like an average of 600+ points a person per event for top 100 last season, IIRC (counting shield as 2 events)

    We're currently 87th, so to give you an idea 91st is currently 10171. If trends hold that would put 100th around 9950 or something. Of course there's still 4 hours left so I would expect that number to go up quite a bit.

    ok cheers. Need a few more people then even if we can all score around 800. Slowly working on getting the slots. It's a real shame the cost can't be split between everyone. I.e everyone paying around 100, rather than one guy having to pay 1000.

    And it's so hard when you're F2P cause every 2 or 3 weeks you've got to shell out 400+ for a slot for a new character, if you want top 10 in PvP you generally need to shield at least once, so you can only make so much there. Not that it's not doable, but it's not easy. I know personally I think I was member 12 or 13 in my* alliance(*our, hi noob!), and I was in position several times to contribute something like 4-600 towards a new slot, but could never save up the full 14, 15, 1600 to open up a full slot. As far as game progression and enjoyment it totally would have been worth the 5-10 bucks to pay for a/my slot, but at the time I was slightly reluctant and feeling pushed into it by D3.

    Anyway - best of luck to you. Once you get enough to open up a new slot you can always try to recruit people willing to open up the next one. Not sure how viable that is now that there seem to be people quitting the game daily, opening up slots in already-full alliances.
