Accidentally opened 40 pack

I have almost done this in the past and it finally happened. Going through and opening a bunch of tokens and had 2 tokens for pvp pack. Opened one and apparently missed the button to open the second. Up comes the dreaded screen with the forward button to go to next cover. Hoping for just a 10 but no, it just keeps on going. With all these great vaults they have been having regularly, I would never use 15k HP on this. Did not apply covers and opened a ticket but of course they won't help out on something like that.

Would really like an option in settings to disable things over a certain amount (maybe 5k or something) so you would purposely have to enable that if you choose. Or they could adjust UI somehow so these purchase buttons aren't in the same place you normally have to click all the time.

Don't you have to tap twice in two different parts of the screen in order to confirm your selection?

The location you click is basically the same spot you click ok to apply cover. So if you miss the click to open your single token and are quickly trying to just apply it, the first click opens the pack and the next one is a confirmation. I have done it before but usually catch it on confirmation but was clicking too fast.

Now I only have 4k HP so it will be quite awhile before it can happen again.

Just make a 2 step purchase. Click. Then are you sure you want to buy

Could be worse at least hp is easy to earn in this game and you will make it back easy. Unlike some cooking game I played on Facebook back in early 2000s. I hit finish all by mistake took like 1000 gems that would either take me 2 plus years to get back or paid hundred

Long story short they said too bad. Never play it again . Funny thing is game is still around and my dishes are still sitting on the stoves lol who wants 20 year old chicken

This is never going to work as there is not a legitimate way to prove "accident" in this case. Don't like the pulls you got? Oops I guess it was an accident, better refund.

All purchases should have to undergo a 2 factor authentication. Send a 6 digit code to your cell phone (standard rates may apply) that you then enter on the screen prior to opening your token.

Then another screen to make sure you’re not a robot- make three green matches, select all the squares that have time displaced symbiotes, etc. something like that.

    Then claim your reward.

    Easy Peasy

Stock broker used to be like that til they got sued . People complain it was taking to long to make trades lol 😆

One time not so long ago I had the game open and was walking into the house and carrying a bunch of things in so I pressed the phone up against my body so that I could hold the stuff better. When I got into the house and set every thing down I looked at my phone and somehow I had bought one of those 3600 HP deals for a cover of the Crash of the titans character.

After wasting that 3600 HP I learned to always close my phone before I do something like that lol.

For HP packs over 10k, I would be fine with this. I don't think I have ever used 10k at one time. Do people actually buy these? I guess maybe to try to cover a new release.

I just got bit. 40 pack from the infinite pursuit vault...9800 hp I believe it was. I feel like that kid back in the day who reviewed fast food "my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined." Hahahahaha gotta just laugh it off

One downside of holding HP for good vaults is it’s possible to use it in places you don’t want to.

Just had a near miss on a 20 pack in the Spicy vault.

Also sometimes when I’m trying to switch to the Recruit tab from vaults, I click the single pull button for a vault which is just under it and need to stop the pull.

    Such fun, fighting with UIs.

Another option I think some apps use...make purchases use a meter that fills up so you have to hold the button in a couple seconds

I don't hate this but maybe only if you're about to spend HP. If you have tokens or are spending CP then no, would be horrible.

Agree. Just trying to find a way to stop accidental uses of HP because I have almost done it several times

You can set the app store to ask for authentication for every purchase. I have to use the fingerprint scanner or enter my password before spending money -- I think they did this so people couldn't use this excuse to get refunds ("my kid took my phone" etc).

I assume that only works for real purchases and not HP?

Sorry, I must've misread. No, I don't think they'd bother with that for in-game currency...it's really not that big of a deal.

Spending actual money accidentally is a very big deal, that's why they have systems in place to prevent it.

I am glad it isn't a big deal for you. I used 15k of my 20k on a horrible pack I would never buy.
