Progression awards and First time hello

Hey first time poster, I been playing for awhile, I recognized some of the users on here and this community seem cool and wanted to say "Hey, nothing personal" if I attacked you in a tournament, just like to see how I stack against different teams.

But do any of you feel like just participating in a tournament to help people boost the points in the brackets or tournaments.

I mean, lots of people participate in tournaments to get the new covers, but as a collector I got them all and I'm content with the team I have and not in a big rush to max out characters I don't use often like Captain America.

Like the Venom Heroic, where the brackets have rubber band effect, that's awesome, and I'm just playing to push up the average, probably going to duck out the last day give everyone a chance at the top, cause I like to see others get what they want.

Or go into tournaments and then play with a underpowered team for a easy target, sorry if that's not allowed.

Does anyone else have this feeling?

I don't think anyone is going to hate on you for playing the game how you want to... Most people would welcome it and say whoa free tournament points and probably move along haha...

Edit: Also, this entire game is built pretty much with players attacking other players in order to advance so I don't think anyone would take it offensively that you attacked them...

That's true about no one will take it offensively, but there are times I keep fighting the same group of people over and over, just because that's all who showed up for me, but that has gotten better lately.

I just wanted to see if there are those just feel a little helpless for the progression rewards and if people ever entertained the idea or think if that method actually works, cause I could be wrong and just entered for no reason.
