Please remove that continues sound effect from the game

Hi everyone,

I play on steam on PC, I don't know if that makes a difference from playing on phone, but anyway, I just wanted to state that. When I'm in the 1) "Home" screen of the game, 2) the "Alliance" screen, 3) the "Featured Event", 4) "Story", or 5) "Versus" screen, I keep hearing this annoying continues sound. I HATE it.

The problem is that there's NO way to mute it, you can only mute ALL "Sound Effects". Well, I still want to hear the other sound effects, like clicking on a character or firing a power...etc. But, I don't want to hear that annoying sound continually for no reason. So, please remove that sound.

I'm assuming you mean the "computer" sounding background hum. I usually only noticed it when whatever podcast or whatnot I'm listening to in the background ends and I haven't started playing something else yet.

Oh wow, that is annoying. I have never noticed it before, but I also don’t play with sound usually. I wonder if I never noticed because I have always had music on as well with the sound effects, or if it’s a new sound that was introduced

It is there since I started to play the game, like a couple of years ago. I never play on mobile. It is really annoying and it serves no purpose at all. I sent a support ticket and I hope they do something. But, maybe they will do, if more people alert them to that annoying peoblem.

It drives me crazy. Sometimes I leave game open and I watch a movie or a YT video and at some time I notice that time in the background and I remember how this was annoying but I didn't realize where it came from. I sent a support ticket and I hope they do something.

Did you play that YouTube link he posted?

I play on Android and I can assure you that background sound is not there or I'd have quit a LONG time ago. There is background music but it's nothing like that.

Yes. It’s the exact same sound as in the video. I’ve never noticed it before though. It is significantly lower in volume than the more standard ‘sound effect’ sounds of opening a new window, choosing a battle, making matches, etc., but it’s there. Even harder to notice if you also have the music turned up.

Turn the music slider off and the sound effects slider to max and sit in the front landing page for a moment without clicking anything. The sound gets annoying real fast.

Right. If you play with music on, it is a bit harder to hear it unless you made it loud in the settings. I never play with music on, I like to hear other sound effects like clicking a character or firing a power...etc.

Try to turn music off and increase the "sound effdects" level a bit and you will hear it clearly. Also, the sound is not in all screens, for example, if you go to "Roster" screen, you can't hear it. I marked the places that you can hear the sound in the attached screenshot.

Turned the sound off years ago, so just tried it and yes, as soon as I move the Sound bar slightly up, that sound starts. Definitely annoying and I don't remember ever hearing it before on Steam.
Tried on Android and it's there as well, but not as loud as on Steam.

I opened a ticked with support and all what I get are instant (seemingly) automatic replies. That's really annoying. I like to play with sound effects on, not music and definitely not this super annoying noisy sound.
