i get its golden week and AAPI month, but just some pallet recolor on one part of a costume SHOULDN'T be considered a costume. At least put 'em in something more cool.
If they want to create a bunch of costumes at once, I'm sure these are much easier to create than new costumes. They've also got xmen 97 costumes for sinister and 5 start Jubilee and I'm sure more to come that they had to make.
The pallette swap costumes are kind of neat imo, but I'm not paying $10 just to change Mario Daken into Luigi Daken.
We're looking into ways to better flag these color variations to avoid any expectation that they're meant to be the same as our regular skins. Internally we've been calling them chromas since it reminded us of colors like in Marvel vs Capcom, but stay tuned in-game as we try to address the optics of their value proposition.

Now they're all available for 300 hp each. I bought Daken and Colleen Wing.
Saw the Daken costume and thought to myself”Hey, I already have this version of him. I’ll spend 300 HP and get 500 HP back for a duplicate costume.” Didn’t realize it was different color on the pants, but otherwise, exactly the same. There was no reason to buy. Frustrating.

I thought the same although I had actually bought the costume. Gave me 5HP back for the dupe. About to email CS but didn't want anyone else to make the same mistake.
