Can't say I disagree, but if the numbers are only provided for 550, and someone asks for help because they want to know whether to champion that character, then offering them the means to calculate the 450 figures seems the right thing to do.

I just wanted to pass on my comments to the devs. This rework is absolutely fantastic!
Well done for making his trap tiles totally relevant.
He’s probably now jumped to be my favourite character to include on a team, mainly for fun factor and awesome theming.

I have 1 cover for him and I have to say, I'm not yet impressed. However, I would love to play him with 13 covers, seems fun and well done.

Is there a way to avoid the trap damage without downing Mister Sinister?

When they announce this rework, i thought that it benefits the masses that this initial iteration was rather abysmal. Using him was fun but still not my style. Fast forward to today's sim PVE and lo-and-behold, he's featured in the challenge node. I got wiped few times before i decided to use riri cheap stun and AP boosts to push through. Just like the 5*kingpin rework, but worst. Well trolled, dev, well trolled...

Oh, I didn't know that stunning him stopped the traps "leave the board" effects. Thanks.

To be clear, I’m not sure that stunning stops the dmg from the trap being matched etc…but it would stop him from making them in the first place!
Also, denying black will reduce his trap generation.

I think trap tiles work even when the character is stunned...

This node needs rework. Not a single other CN packs so much damage pasivley and if don't have just right characters, you are screwed. It's like you have to use Okoye/Gorr, Polaris & Friends or Riri with Boots or entirelly skip. There is something wrong when with just few rounds 500k+ health is shredded without firing single power from both sides.
Just to remember, this is SCL10, a level designed for deep 5* rosters (before ascension) and if such roster struggles cause a node just shreds such roster EVERYTIME unless ya use specific 4... With exception to Emma/May every team on Reddit has suggested has some 4.
I used like 20 healthpacks and half dozens of teams before I reached Reddit and found out I forgot about Gorr. Every other CN has multple option but this one is so limited...
And just to be clear, IMO there is HUGE difference between "tough node" and "you can beat it with X/Y/Z only". i do not whine cause I had problems. I whine cause this node with sinister rework has just passed the border of my acceptance of being fair (I mean it's not longer a fair node).

Yeah, this is a LOT tougher now. Do you go after Sinister first to stop the traps? Carnage to stop the Attack tiles? Or Medusa who does the healing/AP gain?
After several wipes with my usual "good" teams (including several with a 546 Omega Red which usually takes care of about anything), I had to go winfinite with BRB, Ascended 5Juggernaut1, Boosted 5-star Polaris, +2 All AP and +2 Green. If Polaris hadn't been both Ascended and Boosted, she would have been downed before I got enough green to get things going. Even then, I lost the first time I tried it due to Carnage Green, cascades galore, and Medusa purple taking out Juggernaut.
I switched my Dr Strange to remove traps after a couple of attempts, only to start taking damage when the Eye was removing them. That was a very unpleasant surprise, and a quick switch back after the faceplant.
I'll have to try out Gorr, although at LVL 337 he'll be taken out by a couple of traps or a random Symbiote Scythes.

I've said it earlier, the rework seems to be on characters featured in PVE, especially on hard or challenge nodes (5KP, Medusa, AA, 5SL, NF comes to mind, though some appears to be more insidious than others, with the exception of NS. Loving it ), so nowadays when i see rework stuff, I'll be thinking of how it will impact the PVE experience instead of how it benefits the player base. If my theory is correct, 5*BW will never be rework, since she's featured in PVE as playable character instead.

She’s in the Challenge Node in HoD sub 3. Maybe some others.
