Hey, @S0kun - is that red right? It deals 1595 damage no matter what the level of the character or power?

I know the main source of damage is going to be the CDs, but that still strikes me as strange...

Eh? It scales from Level 2 (125%) to Level 5 (225%).

    More of the same.
Would it kill you to have a character that punishes charged tiles?
    A 5 not a 4

Seems like an interesting character. I have trouble downing moon dragon as is. She didn’t need the help, lol. Wondering if that’s who I should be ascending. I was torn between Juggs and Polaris but maybe a new contender has entered the arena?

All 4s are now 5s. Stay woke.

It's 1595 + 100% in the main write up, then that percentage increases but the base damage doesn't.

She's only been every single fight in every single event for, like, the last 6 months! How fast do you want them to work!?

I expect we'll get a whole bunch of terrible m'Thor counters sometime in 2025, after the hoarders unload on some new overpowered guy.

Also: this character is laughably DOA in this metagame. The extra CDs from her first ability get blown up immediately. She makes SAP tiles that get blown up immediately. And she's got a power that does more damage when her CD tiles are out...and they won't be. Plus a ton of her budget seems invested in permanent damage, which is basically useless now that Chasm is dead.

With multiple CDs out does red proc as a multihit and potentially hit multiple enemies if downing them? Or all dmg to one target regardless?

I'm just sad that Phyla's store is called "Quasar", but we don't have Wendell Vaughn in the game.

Omega Red was the only character who did permanent damage well, and it was just a cherry on top of his other stuff. If it was removed from his kit he'd be like...3% weaker.

Not sure if moondragon synergy is part of the power balance as well, but not a fan of that either lol. I think she'd be MUCH better if she just did straight damage. They'd be a good chunk more damage, and her nuke would be even better. She'd also benefit from some fortification. Maybe when she makes a match, make a CD and fortify a friendly tile or something?

Even if she was changed that way, she wouldn't be overpowered or anything! Just much more usable, fun, and interesting.

I have no idea what that black power is doing.
Also, you guys are missing a comma there.
Charged with the endless power of Oblivion, Martyr’s blade is capable of annihilating all it touches.

I honestly have no idea who comes up with these kits/powers and is like "yeah, this is a good one". Yet another 5* who is essentially worthless as immediately released.

The black seems to be there to make sure she makes a bunch of CDs which you can insta-detonate with red. Or just get on the board to tick down.

A 450 5/3/5 using red could do like 16k dmg per 4 turn CD.

So for 8 black she gets the highest match damage on the team +10% to ensure she is tanking the colors of the CDs?
So for 8 black you want to match the color of those cds potentially matching them away, just to create more cds?

There has to be something I'm missing with this kit.
Clearly she is 535, but SheThor is going to neuter this character out the box.

I didn’t say she had a position in the meta….just saying what the design intent seems to be.

Pure 5* are dead. We know what the new long long endgame is. Put me out of my misery and launch a 4* only token for 5-10CP.

Sitting this morning kinda wishing your username was Tony Shoulders-head. If you have/had little kids that particular dad joke might make sense….

The devs are more than happy to sell you bundles of 4* covers for cash.

CP is almost a “post” situation for some players. It’s not impossible for them to offer a discounted store (see Crawl Nighter). Buying Classics gives more bonus 4s than 5s so it’s partway there for you. Just more expensive than you’re asking for.

Yeah, but by you if you're doing it right; they don't need to survive at all if you can fire black -> make cascade with a power -> fire red.

She makes SAP tiles that get blown up immediately.

And possibly stop so many countdowns from being destroyed - spam powers do disrupt MThor slightly. This is the dump stat though for sure.

And she's got a power that does more damage when her CD tiles are out...and they won't be.

No? The black power just boosts match damage for 2 turns, doesn't need countdowns out, right?

I guess you want a partner with high match damage and some sort of board shake (ideally using crits?)

1Spidey5 is boosted quite frequently so that's probably where I'd start.

Collecting AP to fire three powers isn't going to make it quick but I can imagine it being fun.

Would be much better if a) Anything that destroyed the countdowns did the increased damage and b) the damage carried over to the next target if one was downed.
