Can you tell a bit more about it? What cards, planeswalkers and event were involved when this happened to you?

I'm not sure if there are documented rules for this anywhere but currently in mtgpq in regards to damage prevention loss of life is treated the same as damage and if your Planeswalker has prevent damage it also prevents loss of life.

The most common distinction between loss of life and damage is that after the end of a fight loss of life is reversed and that life is given back to your Planeswalker verses damage isn't

I'm presuming you've played mtg where it's handled quite differently. So this is probably going to come back as working as intended. But if it does it would still be nice to get the rules for this added into one or both of these articles.
