When boss events begin, slice 1 has been over for a few hours and slice 2 has just completed; players competing in slices 3-5 finish their final grind during the first rounds of the boss event. This in turn means that once the boss event is gone, players in the later slices do not have a PvE event to play until later that day or possibly the next depending on the player’s time zone and schedule.
To keep players engaged and to facilitate semi-regular rewarding, I propose adding “Deadpool’s Limited Edition Post-Boss Event”, a 24-hour, non-placement story that behaves much like a regular event. The event starts immediately after the boss event ends, and players choose their SCL level, which determines the available rewards and the enemies' scaled levels. Although the nodes still have event timers and there is a leaderboard, no awards are given for placement and full progression is not dependent on letting node points refresh.
